The successful economic operator will be remunerated for the provision of the facilities in question by way of recurring payments under a service contract. The Contracting Authority requires access to approximately 500 car-parking spaces within a radius of five kilometres of its main campus. Nonetheless, on a voluntary basis, and in order to ensure transparency and contractual certainty, the Contracting Authority is advertising this opportunity via the Irish Government’s Procurement Opportunities Portal (www.etenders.gov.ie). Economic operators are advised, however, that as this competition is not subject to the public procurement regulations, the Contracting Authority shall be entitled to avail of a degree of procedural flexibility when conducting this competition.
