Curative maintenance of submarine cable links – Marine operations
RTE, the French electricity transmission system operator, is responsible for developing, building and operating high-voltage submarine cable links for interconnection with neighboring countries, or for connecting offshore wind farms to the terrestrial transmission grid. RTE currently operates a wide range of submarine cable links on the Manche Channel, Atlantic and Mediterranean facades. In the future, the number of submarine cable links shall further increase with the development of HVDC long distance submarine cable links to offshore wind farms. These submarine cable links can be floating or laid on the sea floor. In this context, RTE is preparing for curative maintenance of several submarine cable links of its current and future networks on both Channel/Atlantic and Mediterranean facades. Curative maintenance of RTE networks is to be planned on HVAC (including floating technology) and HVDC bundle submarine cable links. In case of HVDC, maintenance operation shall cover handling of bundled cables (Two power cables and one fiber optic cable). This curative maintenance shall encompass the means and personnel necessary to perform the Marine Operations scope which comprises: 1) Fault location along full cable length, i.e. from landfall to OSS hang-off; 2) Spread deployment to ensure cable repair, i.e. a) Vessel and equipment mobilization; b) Cable system spare load out at storage facility located in French harbors, RTE being responsible for cable system availability up to the quay edge; c) Deburial of faulty section; d) Cable cutting and preparation onboard for repair; e) Pull-in at OSS or landfall if required; f) Joint deployment; g) Cable system repaired section reprotection. The jointing operation is excluded from this scope of work. RTE would like to investigate ways to perform the above-mentioned Marine Operations scope and particularly on ways to limit the return-to-service time after a default and maintain a cost-effective approach. In order to achieve these two main objectives; this periodic indicative notice is designed to permit RTE to exchange both with marine operators and intermediaries (brokers). Hence, this periodic indicative notice aims to encourage the market to have its various actors emerge and help RTE identify them. It shall also allow the market to clarify its capacity of service with respect to RTE periodic indicative notice and propose adapted and robust solutions.

AFBI03-ITT02 - Supply of Seabird Tracking Equipment
The British Trust for Ornithology (BTO) is looking for suitably qualified and experienced companies/organisations to tender for the supply of seabird tracking and biologging tags, including associated base stations and software, for use in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland as part of the ACCLIMATISE project. The work will support seabird tracking activities and will contribute to a transboundary seabird conservation strategy and action plans for priority threatened seabird species. BTO is a project partner in the ACCLIMATISE project, supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). ACCLIMATISE is led by the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute (AFBI). Within this project, BTO is leading Work Package 2: ‘Transboundary Conservation Strategies and Sustainable Management of Marine Predators’. As part of this work, BTO (co-leading with the RSPB) will carry out extensive seabird tracking and ecological studies across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. This specifically includes tracking to investigate the at-sea distribution, foraging ecology, and flight height in breeding Black-legged Kittiwake Rissa tridactyla (hereafter Kittiwake), Northern Fulmar Fulmarus glacialis (hereafter Fulmar), Common Guillemot Uria aalge (hereafter Guillemot), and Razorbill Alca torda. This tender relates specifically to the supply of seabird tracking and biologging tags to support this work. The appointment of a Tenderer will be by a process of open tender. The requirement is set out in the Specification herein. General information on the British Trust for Ornithology is also available at www.bto.org

Cancellation - Energy follow-up system (EOS) - announcement no. 2
Trøndelag fylkeskommune (hereafter called the Contracting Authority or TRFK) shall procure a new energy follow-up system (EOS). The current system is Optima, owned by EG Norway and delivered by Entro AS. The annual combined energy use for the properties is in the range of 35 GWh electricity and 25 GWh thermal energy. Any measurements of street lights and or charging installations will come in addition, to the degree that these will be relevant for using this service/delivery. A well-functioning energy follow-up system is decisive for obtaining an overview and control of energy use, optimising operation and uncovering deviations, comparing status and development, as well as for exercising good energy management in the form of economic and environmental operations. Likewise, it is decisive to effectively report energy use to management at different levels in the organisation or to political leadership. Equivalently, it is desirable that EOS shall contribute to an overview of the use of water on the property, waste and any manual reporting of passenger transport. As Trøndelag county is already reporting through, among other things, Miljøfyrtårn and performs complete environmental reporting, it is requested that the new product has options as described in:Automatic report energy use in each building/facility, with an option for manual input where automatic meters are missing. Automatically report water consumption in each building/facility, with an option for manual input where automatic meters are missing. Automatically report waste amounts by type/fraction, with an option for manual entry where automatic meters are missing. Show climate gas emissions in CO2 equivalents connected to the operation of each building and for the entity in total. As far as possible report passenger transport to and from each unit and entity together. Where possible it is possible to integrate with the Contracting Authority's tool for property management and be able to read/write with this system. Where possible, the Contracting Authority can extract data from EOS to its own time series server in order to use data learning/artificial intelligence on the data basis. See annex 1 with sub-annex for a more detailed description of the extent.

Pairc Feirme Leamhchoill Teo T/A Loughwell Farm Park
Loughwell Farm Park invites tenders for the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of a commercial-grade outdoor/indoor inflatable park measuring approximately 100ft x 50ft. The equipment is required for use within an established family visitor attraction and must be specifically designed for repeated public use in a commercial setting. Safety is the overriding priority of this contract. The proposed inflatable park must demonstrate the highest standards of safe design, structural integrity, durability, stability and operational reliability, and must be fully suitable for intensive commercial use by children and families. The contract must include the complete inflatable unit, all blowers and associated equipment, anchoring or restraint systems as required, delivery, installation, commissioning, operating instructions, staff handover or training, warranty, and all relevant technical, safety and compliance documentation. The equipment must be suitable for both outdoor and indoor use, subject always to the manufacturer’s operating limits and safety instructions. Tenderers must demonstrate that the proposed inflatable park complies with the recognised safety standards and inspection requirements applicable to commercial inflatable play equipment. In particular, equipment should comply with BS EN 14960, which HSE identifies as the relevant standard for this type of inflatable play equipment. HSE also states that commercial play inflatables should display either a numbered PIPA tag or an ADiPs Declaration of Compliance to show compliance with BS EN 14960, together with written instructions for safe operation. Tenderers must therefore provide full details of compliance with BS EN 14960, together with all relevant inspection and safety documentation, including certification, operating manuals, maintenance requirements, supervision guidance, maximum user numbers, age/height restrictions where applicable, anchoring requirements, and emergency procedures. Full written instructions must be supplied for safe setup, operation, inspection, maintenance and shutdown. HSE guidance also notes that inflatables should not be used in winds above 24 mph / 38 km/h unless the manufacturer sets a lower limit, and safe use depends on proper anchoring, blower checks, pressure checks and written operating procedures. The successful tenderer must also demonstrate relevant experience in the manufacture and/or supply of commercial inflatable play equipment for public use and must provide details of warranty, aftersales support, spare parts availability, delivery timelines and installation arrangements. Award will be based on the most economically advantageous tender, with particular regard to safety compliance, technical suitability, delivery and installation, warranty and aftersales support, and price.
