Ausschreibungsbeschreibung
The objective of the procurement is to procure one high capacity scanner for digital pathology for routine scanning of histological tissue section at the Pathology Department, St. Olavs Hospital HF. The procured scanner system shall support effective and secure digitalisation of tissue glass for use in clinical routine diagnostics, including primary diagnostics carried out by pathology, as well as for image analysis, research, development projects and work with artificial intelligence (KI). The scanner system shall be suitable for continual operation in a high volume laboratory and it shall be able to carry out automated and unmanned batch scanning during nights and weekends. The system shall contribute to a low operational load for laboratory personnel through a high degree of automation, stability and efficient work flow, at the same time that manual and semi-automatic scanning is required. The scanner system shall be able to be integrated with the Contracting Authority ́s existing digital pathology system (Philips IntelliSite Pathology Solution – PIPS), as well as support relevant open standards for further use of image data in an analysis and research context. The system shall also enable flexible handling and storing of image files suitable for different purposes, including clinical operation and project/research use. There is no need for fluorescent scanning or scanning glass with particularly large formats beyond standard histological object glass. The scanner system shall be designed for practical and intuitive use in a routine laboratory, with an efficient and predictable work flow. See the Requirement Specifications and the Price Form for further details.

78015_78031 RH KLM PAT Transmission machine
Oslo University Hospital invites tenderers to a competition for the procurement of transmission instruments for Rikshospitalet, Department of Pathology, Unit for histology. The department has a high daily volume with approx. 500 standard tissue cassettes and 1-30 super mega cassettes to be prepared for further analysis and diagnostics. Furthermore, the system shall include two identical instruments that are run equal and parallel. The reason is that the department needs robustness and redundancy as the patient material provided on these instruments is often irreplaceable material. The instrument must be able to perform tissue samples during nights and over weekends. The department needs to use quick protocols as well as protocols, particularly suitable for fat-containing tissue samples.

Upgrade CT scanner - Naturalis
Naturalis’ laboratory uses a Zeiss Versa 520 CT scanner. The scanner is a vital part of the laboratory’s infrastructure but is nearing the end of its lifespan. After next year, the scanner will no longer be serviced by Zeiss, and Zeiss will no longer guarantee the safety of the device. From a sustainability and cost perspective, Naturalis has chosen to upgrade the existing scanner. The assignment therefore involves replacing the internal system within the protective housing with the Versa 730 system, including maintenance and support for the upgraded scanner. The contract term will be at least 10 years. The value of the contract, including 5 years maintenance and support, will be around 1,050,000 EUR excl VAT. PLEASE NOTE This is a voluntary ex ante transparency notice. Objections to the award of this contract can be made until 9 January 2026 at the latest. 1 upgrade of the CT scanner, including 5 years of support and maintenance

Integrated Measurement System for 2D/3D Fluid/Particle Velocity and Surface Deformation (2D/3D-PIV-DIC) for Trinity College Dublin (TCD)
The Department of Mechanical, Manufacturing and Biomedical Engineering in Trinity College Dublin requires the supply, delivery, installation, and commissioning of an advanced 2D/3D Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) and Digital Image Correlation (DIC) system to support cutting-edge experimental research in fluid dynamics and solid mechanics. The system shall comprise a high-energy pulsed laser, synchronised high-resolution cameras, precision timing and control units, and fully integrated acquisition and analysis software. The solution must be capable of capturing high-accuracy, time-resolved measurements of velocity fields, particle motion, and surface deformation, enabling two-dimensional (2D) and ideally also three-dimensional (3D) analysis. It should support applications involving complex flow regimes, multiphase flows, and structural behaviour under varying conditions. Flexibility for future upgrades is essential, including the potential to incorporate temperature and scalar concentration measurements. The equipment must demonstrate proven reliability, accuracy, and repeatability, and be suitable for intensive research use. Full installation, calibration, commissioning, and user training are required, along with comprehensive documentation and ongoing technical support. The system must integrate seamlessly with existing laboratory infrastructure and contribute to enhancing the Department’s research capabilities and output.

Droplet Digital PCR to Østfold Hospital
The Section for Gene Technology at Østfold Hospital needs to procure a system for digital PCR based on droplet digital PCR partitioning (droplet digital PCR, ddPCR). This shall be used for analysing different biomarkers in connection with research projects. The academic community has experience with ddPCR from Bio-Rad and is not already aware of other providers of drop-based digital PCR systems. The need in question at Østfold Hospital depends on the use of drop-based technology, partly because of the requirements for: high sensitivity and precision reliable quantification of low frequency varieties compatibility with existing methods and work flow continuity in validated analyses and result comparable. The contracting authority will, via this notice, open to input from the market/alternative tenderers who believe they can deliver an equivalent ddPCR system as described. The procurement will include a ddPCR system, instrument dependent consumables and an option for a service contract. The deadline for submitting feedback to the Contracting Authority is 30.04.2026.
