Spektralbereich: 190–1700 nm (erweiterbar auf 2700 nm). Anforderungen: laterale Auflösung < 2 µm, Live-Ellipsometrie-Kontrast, automatisches Goniometer (40–90°, Auflösung 0,001°), Proben-Ausrichtung für Flüssigkeiten und Knife-Edge-Beleuchtung.
