Ulster Canal Restoration Phase 3 is a cross jurisdictional project with works in both Northern Ireland and Ireland. When complete, Ulster Canal Restoration Phase 3 will connect the navigations of the previously constructed phases of the Ulster Canal Restoration and provide a navigable link from the Erne Navigation via the restored Ulster Canal to Clones. This competition is for the procurement of a Construction Team in respect of Phases 3.1 and 3.2 only, which extends from Castle Saunderson to Gortnacarrow. The works consist largely of the following: • Construction of a new navigation arch at Wattlebridge • Construction of a new bridge at A3 Gortnacarrow • Local realignment of roads • Construction of a marina and lock chamber • Construction of accommodation bridge • construction of 300m of new canal • Dredging of the River Finn • Associated Mechanical and Electrical engineering Works • Landscaping and parking provision

Construction manager for avalanche protection
The buildings in the centre of Honningsvåg shall be secured against avalanches from Storefjellet by the construction of rigid support structures in the form of steel bridges and flexible support structures in the form of modified stone warp fences, as well as snow collector screens and some rock protection. The aim of this procurement is to enter into a contract with a technical construction manager to assist with following-up the construction of the initiatives. The execution of the security measures will take place in the construction seasons 2026-2028 (between 1 June and 31 October each year). Work outside the construction season must be expected. National road 426 Eigerøy bridge
The main aim of the project is to replace the current Eigerøy bridge with a new bridge which shall be constructed parallel to the south side of the existing one. When the new bridge is finished, shall the old one be demolished. In addition a foot and cycle path shall be established south along the Hovlandsveien, on the current national road 426. Associated roads in the area shall also be upgraded in order to ensure comprehensive improvement of the infrastructure. New Eigerøy Bridge * The new Eigerøy bridge shall be constructed on the south side of the existing bridge. When the new the bridge has been completed, the old bridge shall be demolished. The new bridge is planned as a type of "Concrete slab bridge with blasted columns" with a length of approx. 272 m. * The bridge should typically have a total width of 13.6 m. * The sailing rectangle shall be (HxB) 22.5 m in 23.5 m. Other constructions * New culvert Lauåsen internal dimension (BxH) 3.5 m x 3.1 m * Support construction along Hovlandsvegen * Retaining wall and support construction at Hovlandsvegen 7 and 9 * Retaining wall along Old Eigerøyveien. * Other minor walls and support structures uncovered by the engineering design. need for. A new foot and cycle path shall be constructed as the main solution for walking and cycling. This road shall connect on foot and cycle paths on the new bridge. The foot and cycle path is approx. 750 m long. The width of the new foot and cycle path varies between 2.5 and 3.0 m plus the shoulder and railing room. * The farthest south continues the current foot and cycle path on the west side of Hovlandsveien up to the existing pedestrian crossing at the public transport stops. The project “Construction Works on M3 Cimislia bypass, 7.4 km” consists in the construction of a new road. Cimislia Bypass Road is an extension of the M3 road that bypasses Cimislia city to the northwest and reconnects with the M3 road south of Cimislia. The works to be carried out includes the new road construction including arrangement of side roads to the agricultural fields and arrangement of minor intersections. Construction of retaining wall and underground drainage system (manholes), slope protection, bridges and overpasses constructions. Arrangement of drainage facilities as construction of the culverts, consolidated lined side drains and outside interception ditches. The pavement structure consists of construction of the embankment, base course, stabilized base, and new asphalt layers. Project include the arrangement of power lines of 10kV – 110kV, arrangement of underground communication cables, and arrangement of gas lines. Time for Works’ Completion is 30 months, and 24 months of the Defects Notification Period. The Applicable Guidelines is the Guide to Procurement for Projects financed by the EIB, version March 2024 (EIB GtP). Tenderers shall not have the option of submitting their tenders electronically. Tenderers may submit their Tenders (original and copies) by courier or by hand. Provision of ecological services to Tóchar Midlands Wetland Restoration
Tóchar Midlands Wetland Restoration seeks proposals for the provision of ecological services to support the delivery of project outputs for the restoration of wetland habitats within the EU Just Transition Territory in Ireland. The Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage (DHLGH) was awarded funding of €12m from the EU Just Transition Fund 2021-2027 for a wetlands restoration scheme in Ireland’s Just Transition Fund (JTF) territory. Named the Tóchar Midlands Wetland Restoration Scheme, it is supporting a set of actions for wetlands restoration in a distinct area comprising all of counties Westmeath, Longford, Roscommon, Laois, and Offaly and parts of Galway, Kildare and Tipperary. The geographical area has a rich wetlands and peatlands heritage, notably of raised bogs, fens and callows. Tóchar will run until June 2027. It is managed by a small multi-disciplinary Project Team, under the direction of the National Parks and Wildlife Service, with offices in Birr, Co. Offaly. Tóchar is working across a large number of wetland sites, including fens, callows, blanket bogs, alluvial woodland, state-owned and privately owned. This particular contract will support the overall project in general, with a particular focus on wetland sites that come into the project via expressions of interest calls or via regional NPWS staff.
