Among the instruments for secondary standardization of radioactivity and radiological characterisation, some of the HPGe Gamma-Ray Spectrometers will need to be replaced in the coming years. The Promotion of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Programme (PREEEP) through its Skills and Market development component aims to strengthen state and private actors in their role as drivers of Market Development for Renewable Energy (RE)and Energy Efficiency (EE) in Uganda. The contractor is required to support players such as Energy Auditing Professionals, demand side energy consuming enterprises and energy managers. The support shall be in the form of training and technical assistance for access to finance as well as standardization for improving the quality of work. Through this tender, blended training shall be extended to demand side energy consuming enterprises to enable adopt energy management practices while ensuring business development growth. Operators and owners of SMEs will be trained on energy management practices and business development related aspects. The trainings are to be tailored from a baseline and needs assessment focusing on training needs and potential energy management practices that can be adopted in an SME cluster approach. Follow on support includes technical assistance inform energy audits to enable selected SMEs (through a criterion developed by GIZ PREEEP) access existing financing in the sector including PREEEP catalytic partial grant supporting implementation RE/EE measures. Further training shall be extended to energy managers from industry regarding Energy Management systems (EnMs) with reference to the ISO 50001 standard. The energy managers will be able to learn approaches for adopting EnMs to build capacity towards compliance towards any future regulatory requirements. To improve the standardization of energy audits, promote quality of audit reports in the sector, practical training shall be extended to energy auditing professionals to skill them towards developing investment grade energy audit reports. Technical assistance shall be provided in form of the development of a customized reporting framework that includes template(s) / structures and data analysis tool(s) to improve reporting and be able to develop comprehensive reports that can be used by demand side energy-consuming enterprises to seek for financing as well meet any regulatory requirements. Based on this background, GIZ PREEEP would therefore like to hire the services of a contractor to implement the different market development interventions and work packages. This document is not a contract notice or a call for tenders, but a market consultation in accordance with Section 65 of the Finnish Procurement Act, carried out by the contracting authority (also "HUS Group" and "Client") as described in this request for information. The purpose of this request for information is to clarify issues related to the procurement referred to in the title. The objective of the request is to obtain comprehensive information on the subject matter of the procurement in order to support the preparation of the procurement, so that any potential competitive tendering procedure can be conducted in the most appropriate manner possible. Summary of the description of the procurement: The HUS Group requests tenders for a large cancer panel test (also "product") for HUS Diagnostic Center. Laboratory of Genetics at HUS (Helsinki University Hospital) Diagnostic Center is an SFS-EN ISO 15189:2022 accredited laboratory providing diagnostic genetic testing services to all patients at Helsinki and Uusimaa Hospital District. The services include analysis of both constitutional samples and malignancies. The laboratory provides sequencing services mainly using local sequencing capacity (Illumina NovaSeq 6000, NovaSeq X Plus, Ion GeneStudio S5 Prime equipment). The large cancer panel test is intended for detection of small nucleotide variants (SNVs), indels, gene fusions, copy number variations (CNVs), microsatellite instability (MSI), homologous recombination deficiency (HRD), and tumor mutation burden (TMB) relevant for the genetic profiling of solid tumor samples and/or hematological malignancies as well as plasma samples for cfDNA analysis. The procurement is divided into LOT A and LOT B: LOT A - This lot contains panels for solid tumors and hematological malignancies and analysis software. - This test is based on analysis of total nucleic acids (RNA and/or DNA) extracted from paraffin embedded specimens and/or fresh-frozen specimens - This lot includes an option for special panel for salivary gland tumors and an option custom panel. - The HUS Group will decide separately on the use of the option. PURPOSE AND SCOPE The Agency for Education is responsible for the design, execution and return of municipal tests, Oslo tests, in different disciplines/skills at a selection stage in primary and secondary schools. As a part of the work on design, quality assurance, implementation and return of results from the Oslo tests, the Agency for Education wants to enter into an agreement with a professional environment that will be responsible for science from the school year 2026/2027 until the end of the school year 2028/2029 with an option for up to two years. Background The Agency for Education (UDE) has a trial and follow-up plan that is included in a comprehensive work for on-the-go assessment and follow-up of the Students in Oslo. The plan is a part of UDE's system for following up requirements in the law and regulations, including the national quality assessments. The aim of the system is to contribute to quality development in primary and secondary education and increased learning outcomes for the pupils. In addition to regular underway evaluations in the class room, tests and mappings provide useful information on the pupils ́ competence and areas of development. This information shall be actively used by pupils, teachers and school managers to promote learning and ensure early efforts. The trial and follow-up plan includes both governmental tests (government mapping samples and national tests) and municipal tests (Oslo samples). Oslo tests apply for pupils in the 4th and 7th years. These are implemented electronically and re-developed each year. Only one test will be carried out for years 2-5, but the contracting authority has an option for a sample no. 2. Mission UDE would like a professional environment that shall be responsible for the municipal tests in the discipline of rnaturfag. The Consultant shall develop, analyse and follow up the tests in accordance with the requirements in this annex. The contracting authority draws attention to the fact that the estimated value is based on historical data and the expected future need, and includes options.
