Ausschreibungsbeschreibung
HyTACC CRYO GmbH (“HyTACC CRYO”) plans to erect and operate a Hydrogen Liquefaction plant at its site in Pfeffenhausen, Germany (Wasserstoffzentrum 3, 84076 Pfeffenhausen, Germany). HyTACC CRYO is a recipient of government funding and is therefore required to issue a public call for bids. HyTACC CRYO invites potential bidders to participate in a tendering process for the engineering, delivery, installation and commissioning of all necessary equipment for the described turn-key Hydrogen Liquefaction plant. Scope and requirements of the Hydrogen Liquefaction plant are described in the enclosed documents and specifications. An EP contract will be entered into regarding the scope of the project. The bidder is responsible for delivering a turnkey, fully operational plant; the bidder bears responsibility for the project from planning through to turnkey handover following a trial operation and performance test. Furthermore, the contractor is required to provide a 10-year maintenance service offer.

The national action plan of Armenia to improve the nuclear safety of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (ANPP) based on lessons learned from the Fukushima-Daiichi accident, peer reviewed by the European Nuclear Safety Regulators Group (ENSREG), includes an action point on implementation of measures to reduce hydrogen hazard probability and the measurement of hydrogen concentration in the containment of ANPP Unit 2. This supply tender aims to contract supplier(s) of equipment and associated services for hydrogen management in the containment of ANPP Unit 2. Lot 1: Design, manufacture and supply of a set of Passive Autocatalytic Hydrogen Recombiners and auxiliary tools. The tentative total rated depletion rate of the set shall be no less than 105 kg/h. Lot 2: Design, manufacture and supply of a Hydrogen Monitoring System and auxiliaries. For both lots, the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant will, amongst others, be responsible for the installation and commissioning of the equipment under supervision of the selected supplier(s).

The following requirements apply to the test bench needed to operate hydrogen-powered fuel cell systems at ZAL: -The size of the expected test objects will be minimum 4 m x 1 m x 1.5 m (L x W x H). The test bench shall therefore consist of a climate and altitude chamber, the necessary aggregates to operate the fuel cell system and a ready-to-use operators user interface. -The climate and altitude chamber shall be able to simulate temperature, pressure and humidity according to International Standard Atmosphere (ISA) with a rate of change equivalent to 2.800 ft/min. -Aggregates to operate the fuel cell system shall include but are not limited to a balance of plant power supply, an electric load, a hydrogen supply system, a cooling system and an air system for the supply of the fuel cell systems cathode path. -All operational parts shall be controlled via a ready-to-use semi-automated central control system which allows the customer to run scripted test procedures as well as to use single operating points. -All legal and regulatory requirements for an operation in Europe, Germany and the city of Hamburg must be applied. -ZAL already operates supply infrastructures for hydrogen, process air, power supply etc., which will be extended to supply the test bench. The extension of the supply infrastructure is not part of this tender.
