Met Éireann maintains a national infrastructure of instrumentation for monitoring meteorological and environmental observations and measurements. Many of these are at unmanned locations and are referred to as Automatic Weather Stations (AWS), where the data is processed for inclusion into synoptic code by data loggers. Visibility and present weather observations form part of this remit and specialist sensors are used for the detection, identification and measurement of the relevant parameters. Instruments incorporating some or all of these sensors are referred to as Present Weather Sensors (PWS) and will be referred to “PWS” in this and any associated documentation. As many of these PSWs have reached their anticipated end of service life, Met Éireann is proposing to buy replacement and additional instruments, through this RFT, in addition to procuring ancillaries, spares, training and support.

Dublin Port wishes to establish a single party framework agreement for the provision of vehicle leasing and fleet management services. In order to achieve commitments to operational continuity, safe and sustainable port-city relations and compliance with the requirements of the Clean Vehicle Directive, Directive (EU) 2019/1161, Dublin Port Company require the services of a suitably qualified and experienced fleet management company. Requirements will include disposal/recycling of the existing light commercial and passenger car vehicle fleet within the next 2 years and replace with an energy efficient EV, or alternative clean vehicle, LCV/passenger car equivalent. In addition, future management, replacement and disposal of the retained vehicle fleet is a requirement. The replacement interval/timings will be based on the priorities as per table below. The Contracting Entity currently operates a fleet of 24 vehicles which include passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles which are currently owned and management in-house. The current vehicle fleet operates between 07.00 hours and 19.00 hours, within the confines of the Dublin Port estate the majority of the time, however on occasion may be required to travel outside of the port boundaries to facilitate working requirements (Dublin Inland Port, etc.). Each 19"-rack will serve as a standardized enclosure for various 19"-rack mountable electronic systems such as VME-, µTCA-, NIM-, and high voltage-crates and -modules. Due to the requirements to space and applications five types of basic racks are defined of different measures which need to be equipped with general and optional features to comply with the requirements at the different locations at the Super-FRS at FAIR.

The contracting authority needs transport services from glass and metal packaging from Heggstadmoen to Circle glass AS in its facility in Gamle Fredrikstad. The distance is around 572 km. There are estimated 130 trips and 3,200 tons per annum. Tenderers shall give a fixed price per trip. The contracting authority can, if needed, use the contract for associated transport assignments that are outside the transport of glass and metal packaging. Price will be agreed upon when an order is placed. See the requirement specifications (Annex 1) for further details on the procurement. Based on historical figures, the total procurement is estimated to have a value of NOK 5.5 million over the 4 year contract period. The actual volume can vary from year to year. The estimate is not binding for the contracting authority, and changes in the financial or political framework terms can lead to the estimated number of assignments being increased or reduced. The contract will be valid for a maximum amount of up to NOK 7 million during the agreement period. The estimates do not involve any obligation for withdrawals under the framework agreement. The contracting authority will be bound by call-offs against the framework agreement.
