Nye Veier AS announces an intention to enter into a contract with Trafsys AS regarding the delivery of a video system for road monitoring. Trafys AS has previously had a contract with Nye Veier for the period 2021-2025 (Doffin reference 2021-23828) for the delivery of a video system. The system is a central tool for efficient monitoring, documentation and operation of Nye Veier's road installations. The technical adaptations have made it possible to integrate the system with our internal systems and routines and have contributed to increased security and improved decision making, at the same time as safeguarding the GDPR and the security requirements. The background for entering into a new contract for a video system without outset is that the existing system has resulted in considerable implementation costs, including comprehensive special adaptations to fulfil the contracting authority ́s needs and external requirements. Nye Veier AS is aware that a joint national system is being worked on for sharing video images and would also like, on this basis, to await any competitive tendering of this service until the result of this work is clear. The current intention notice contract has a duration of up to 2 years with a total limit of NOK 2,500,000 excluding VAT.
