Vestland county c/o Maintenance bridge and ferry quay is responsible for bridge and ferry quay maintenance on the county roads in Vestland county. Tenderers are invited to submit tenders for 953 main inspections and 58 main inspections below water. The main underwater inspections are divided between a total of 159 underwater foundations in the river, lake or sea. Constructions shall be inspected in accordance with the Norwegian Public Roads Administration ́s handbook N-V441 Bridge inspections.

The assignment comprises operational and maintenance assignments for bridges and ferry quays in the counties of Østfold, Telemark, Rogaland and Vestland in accordance with specifications in the contract. This involves inspections, inspections and service of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical equipment on 47 installations in accordance with object list 9382-D2-S02 Overview of the bridge, quay. The objects included in the contract are stated in chapter 9382-D2-S01 Overview Map.
The assignment is for operational and maintenance assignments connected to ferry quays, with function responsibility for some of the assignments, in accordance with specifications in the contract. In addition there will be operational and maintenance assignments for some bridges and express boat quays in Vestland county. The contract period is from 2026-02-01 until and including 2031-01-31 for all the assignments described
The aim of the procurement is to join up with a construction manager, mainly for the investment project with alterations to Hatvik ferry quay and Venjaneset ferry quay. Assistance can also be required in other quay projects in Vestland as needed. The ferry route Hatvik-Venjaneset on county road 552 over Fusafjorden in Bjørnafjorden municipality is by VLFK a prioritised communication for upgrading and for better adaptation for soft road users.
