It includes: • Demolition of rear party wall to No. 7 Harcourt Street (above and below ground). • Backfilling of basement vault abutting the rear façade of the Protected Structure and propping of rear façade of the Protected Structure • Installation of basement piling works (Secant Wall) • Installation of shotcrete lining to inner face of piling wall • Ground excavation works to the underside of proposed basement slab • Temporary shoring props to restrain basement ope and all associated temporary site works
The works comprise restoration of existing stone sheds to create a new exhibition space The existing floor slab will be demolished and replaced with a new insulated concrete floor slab, walls will be lime rendered, windows and doors replaced, new electrics and underfloor heating system installed and associated external paving, drainage and an insitu concrete retaining wall built to the rear of the site.
