EirGrid requires a framework of planning and environmental specialists to provide specialist surveys and reporting in the areas of Planning, Geographical Information Systems, Archaeology, Ecology and Environmental services to ensure all statutory requirements are met in support of EirGrid meeting its strategic goals. The consulting requirements will typically be delivered at the Consultant’s premises, with visits to EirGrid on an ad-hoc basis. Whilst the majority of EirGrid staff work within an office environment some staff do work off site, primarily on projects and on our large interconnection sites. EirGrid employees circa 650 staff in its primary office in Dublin and has a number of contractors supporting the business. With the development of offshore over the next 3 to 5 years it is anticipated there will be a step change in the organisation. EirGrid is tendering for these services in 6 Lots - see below for overview. Candidates are invited to submit a qualification application for inclusion on the tender list for one or more of the applicable Lots in accordance with this PQQ. Candidates wishing to apply for each multiple Lots must submit a full questionnaire for each Lot: • Lot 1: Planning services • Lot 2: Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Services • Lot 3: Archaeological and Cultural Heritage services • Lot 4: Ecology services • Lot 5: Environmental services • Lot 6: Human and Social Environment and Built/Urban Environmental services. This framework (estimated value excluding VAT €10,000,000) will consist of a mixture of mini-competitions and direct awards via a cascade mechanism, as set out in the procurement documentation. The “Value of the tender” amounts attributed to winning suppliers in Section 6 Results are nominal amounts only.

Environmental Consulting Services
In this procurement, Gasgrid Finland Oy together with its subsidiaries Gasgrid Vetyverkot Oy and Floating LNG Terminal Finland Oy as the Contracting Authority are seeking for three (3) Consultants to provide services related to permitting and environmental studies for projects and sub-projects The framework agreements for environmental services will cover mainly the service scopes as follows: - EIA procedures and materials related to EIA decision applications - Environmental studies, including nature, archeological and other studies - Preparation of permit applications, especially water, expropriation and survey permits - Assisting in land acquisition works - Stakeholder management related to EIA procedures and other permitting processes as well as land acquisition tasks The main scope of the services will consist of tasks related to the Framework Agreement are estimated to be EIA procedures, environmental studies and water permit applications. The Services may also cover environmental studies, EIAs and permitting procedures for offshore pipelines in Finnish territorial waters and EEZ. The scope is defined in more detail in this contract notice and it's annexes. The request for tender will be will be issued to the candidates selected to tender after the NDA has been signed. During the contract period, the Contracting Authority organizes mini-competitions among the awarded Service Providers for selecting the Service Provider for each individual Assignment. Assignments define the commitment to be ordered and supplied. Assignments will be introduced more closely on a later phase of this procurement. The selection criteria utilized for each Assignment is price and quality ratio. Tendering for any of the Assignments is not mandatory. The Contracting Authority may place assignments with a value of less than EUR 200,000 with a contract partner of its choice without conducting a separate mini‑competition. Individual assignments may be carried out using a target pricing model. During the contract period, the Contracting Authority will monitor the supplier’s performance using a set of KPIs. The preliminary performance indicators are expected to include adherence to assignment schedules and customer satisfaction.

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION – Software solution containing tools for curriculum planning and schedule planning for Aalto University
This is a request for information of a system that includes tools for both curriculum and schedule planning work in a university context. With this RFI Aalto University is seeking information on suppliers interested in delivering the services described. Aalto University is a foundation university as provided in the Universities Act (558/2009) and started operations at the beginning of 2010. Aalto has six schools and approximately 20 000 students, 4800 staff of which over 400 are professors. Aalto’s curriculum planning process involves our 3,100 academic staff members including 120 programme directors, supported by 100 curriculum planners in the learning services. The work covers over 80 degree programmes, 700 study modules and 3500 study units. Curriculum data is updated based on the length of the curriculum period, which is currently two academic years. Aalto’s scheduling process involves the aforementioned 3,100 academic staff members, 66 timetable planners, and 3 room booking system admins. The planning encompasses classes for 16 184 students in 250 spaces. With the forthcoming procurement and contract our goal is to establish a long-term partnership with a supplier who can cater to our evolving curriculum and schedule planning needs in alignment with our strategy in an agile manner. REQUIREMENT FOR THE SYSTEM CONTAINING CURRICULUM AND SCHEDULE PLANNING TOOLS Aalto University needs a system primarily for schedule planners, curriculum planners, and teachers to efficiently draft and publish curricula and timetables collaboratively. The desired system should also provide comprehensive analytics and reporting tools to support management with strategic activities on all levels of the university, such as programme directors and department heads for degree programme -level planning, deans for school-level planning, and various members of steering groups for Aalto-level planning. The system should provide advanced contemporary solutions for curriculum mapping and automatic scheduling. The system should be a finished product that has been in active use for several years in the higher education sector. Please see attached Appendix 1 for providing a general description about the procurement and our aims towards the procured service. TERMS OF THIS RFI Contracting authority may use the information it receives during the RFI process for the planning and preparation of the actual invitation to tender. Note!
