Road camera video solution
Nye Veier AS announces an intention to enter into a contract with Trafsys AS regarding the delivery of a video system for road monitoring. Trafys AS has previously had a contract with Nye Veier for the period 2021-2025 (Doffin reference 2021-23828) for the delivery of a video system. The system is a central tool for efficient monitoring, documentation and operation of Nye Veier's road installations. The technical adaptations have made it possible to integrate the system with our internal systems and routines and have contributed to increased security and improved decision making, at the same time as safeguarding the GDPR and the security requirements. The background for entering into a new contract for a video system without outset is that the existing system has resulted in considerable implementation costs, including comprehensive special adaptations to fulfil the contracting authority ́s needs and external requirements. Nye Veier AS is aware that a joint national system is being worked on for sharing video images and would also like, on this basis, to await any competitive tendering of this service until the result of this work is clear. The current intention notice contract has a duration of up to 2 years with a total limit of NOK 2,500,000 excluding VAT.

The number of seabirds in the Arctic has been in a strong decline in recent years. The international research programme SEATRACK, with the Norwegian Polar Institute and NINA in its management, has in recent years obtained a lot of knowledge. An exhibition based on this knowledge will create an understanding to take better care of birds and their environment. The exhibition will be developed and produced during 2026/at the beginning of 2027. One or several premises in Norway will house the general exhibition. The starting point is a rectangular room of approx. 50 m2 that has a high ceiling height (maximum 8 metres). The exhibition must be made so that it can be displayed in many different types of premises (museums, schools, conference halls etc.) in several countries, as a package system where not all the elements need to be included. It is not desirable to send large/heavy units around, but objects that shall be used in the exhibition can wander. If so, there should be three identical "packages" with objects.

This Prior Information Notice (PIN) announces the Open Market Consultation (OMC) for the Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP) in the field of protection of public spaces and crowd management. The OMC will verify the results of a prior art analysis and gather key insights from suppliers on current and emerging technologies that address the needs of the end users. The activities will be designed to facilitate direct communication with industry stakeholders and allow for structured collection of input, ideas and other relevant information. This two-way dialogue will clarify the needs of the procurers as well as the relevant IPR issues and encourage industry active participation to refine tender specifications, which will ultimately lead to prototype and pre-operational solutions. The market consultation sessions will be designed and conducted based on principles of openness, transparency, non-discrimination, and equal treatment, in compliance with European procurement law. In more detail, the main OMC activities will consist of: A Hybrid Central Event: The Central Event will be held in Poland, allowing physical and online participants, and will assist the Consortium to engage with the industry players and research institutions across Europe. Online webinars: 4 online sessions will support the abovementioned efforts. The webinars will be held in English and the languages of the public buyers to promote international engagement. The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is a German development agency primarily implementing technical cooperation projects commissioned by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The "Action4Forests" project (04/2024-03/2028) aims to strengthen the capacities of Brazilian organizations and climate finance managers to improve access to and effective use of funds for forest conservation, sustainable management, and restoration in the Amazon region. The project collaborates closely with German Financial Cooperation (KfW), the Brazilian Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change (MMA), and the National Development Bank (BNDES), which manages the Amazon Fund. The Amazon Fund is a key financial mechanism under Brazil"s REDD+ program, channeling national and international donations to projects that reduce deforestation and promote sustainable use of the Amazon biome. These efforts support Brazil"s climate goals and the Brazilian Action Plan for Prevention and Control of Deforestation (PPCDAm), which is in its fifth phase (2023-2027), and has contributed to nearly a 50% reduction in deforestation since 2022. Brazil has committed to halting deforestation and achieving zero deforestation by 2030, as outlined in its updated Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC). The Multi-Year Plan 2024-2027 complements PPCDAm by defining concrete investments to reduce deforestation annually by 20%, aligning public actions with funding sources like the Amazon Fund and Brazil"s participation in international carbon markets, including under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement. Deforestation accounts for about 50% of Brazil"s greenhouse gas emissions.
