Award of Single Party Framework Agreement for the Provision of services related to Information Security and Cybersecurity Business Solutions
This is an award notice for services related to Information Security and Cybersecurity Business Solutions. A competition for the above was published under the Open procedure on the Irish Government portal (eTenders) under reference 4817800 in December 2024 for the Provision of Information Security and Cybersecurity Services and Advice Services across 2 (mutually exclusive) lots: Lot 1: Information Security and Cybersecurity Services and Advice Lot 2: Information Security and Cybersecurity Business Solutions. That competition was later cancelled with regard to the first Lot. It emerged that a strategic review of what was best for the business needs of Pobal was then required, leading to a material change to the requirements for Lot 1 as detailed in the RFT. The new competition was readvertised via eTenders (RFT ID 5280390) and later a Framework Agreement established. Concerning the second Lot, no tenders were received. On that basis, Regulation 32 of S.I. 284/2016 was invoked and a contract was awarded by direct negotiation in order to procure the requirements under the original Lot 2. The original RFT requirements, selection and award criteria as well as applicable Framework Agreement Terms and Conditions for Lot 2 did not change under the negotiated procedure, and they remained as advertised on 6th December 2024.
