Weiterentwicklung EasyStack Builder ICAM Module für FACIS Projekt Eclipse XFSC
EasyStack Builder. In alignment with the objectives of the 8ra initiative-which fosters a resilient, interoperable, and trusted European digital infrastructure-the FACIS project contributes foundational technologies that support cross-border and cross-domain collaboration. A central building block in this effort is the further development of the EasyStack Builder (ESB), the FACIS automation framework for deploying federated services across heterogeneous cloud environments. The EasyStack Builder provides the essential automation layer required to deploy future Federation Architecture Patterns (FAPs) efficiently, consistently, and with minimal manual effort. It ensures that FAPs-particularly those relying on the XFSC Orchestrator (ORCE)-can be rolled out quickly and reliably, regardless of the target platform. The ESB already includes standardized, reusable deployment configurations that run across multiple environments such as T-Systems Open Sovereign Cloud, IONOS DCD, and STACKIT Cloud. These allow federated components to be provisioned automatically using low-code integration and Helm-based automation. The subject of this tender is the further extension of the EasyStack Builder with a suite of Builder modules for Identity, Credentialing, Authentication, and Management (ICAM). The EasyStack Builder ICAM enables fully automated deployment, configuration, and verification of core ICAM services that are essential for secure and trusted interactions in federated ecosystems. These Builder modules cover: - Organizational Credential Management (OCM) - Personal Credential Management (PCM) - Trust Services (TSA) - Authentication and Authorization Services (AAS) All ICAM Builder modules operate on CNCF-compliant Kubernetes clusters and are executed through the EasyStack Builder Core within the ORCE runtime. By extending ESB with ICAM automation capabilities, FACIS strengthens the foundation for scalable, secure, and interoperable federated environments across Europe. The purpose of this award is to commission software development services for Lot EasyStack Builder ICAM by using the Eclipse Project XFSC (Cross Federation Services Components) as the foundation (https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/technology.xfsc). For further participation and the processing of the documents, it should be noted that the development team must be complete as soon as the order is placed so as to be able to provide the development services on time and with the required quality.
